How a bid consultancy moved from an ad-hoc review to a regular professional license

High-Level Timeline
-
July 2025 – An ad hoc report was produced.
-
August 2025 – Present – A professional licence was obtained and remained in place.
Why Bid Bot?
Internal resources were stretched, and the director did not have sufficient time to complete detailed bid reviews. As a result, the team explored AI-driven bid-review technology to determine whether it could be embedded into their existing process.
Key benefits identified:
- Bids could be reviewed and suggestions provided in approximately 10 minutes
- Bid Bot quality benchmark scores have increased by 15-25% on average
- Content automation has helped speed up second drafts
- The tool flagged critical non-compliance issues and missing content
- In one of the first bids reviewed, it identified missing supporting evidence

Improving quality and compliance
Quality benchmarks improving
Free tender review
Ad-hoc proof of concept report
The bid consultancy used their free trial to understand the quality of the review tools output. In one of the reports, it instantly flagged that there was no evidences (case studies) in any responses. If this bid was submitted, it would of scored very poorly. Because of the quality scoring and the compliance points the tool pulled out, they were impressed and moved onto a professional license.
Since July, they have been using the platform, and their quality scores against our benchmarks have increased, providing more content around people, evidence and value add, thanks to our content automation snippets providing content/ideas to implement.
