Why a mid-sized construction firm is switching from a well known tender finder to our free tool

Why do we provide the tender alert finder for free?
When developing Bid Bot, we trialled several well-known paid tender alert portals to understand how suppliers were finding opportunities. It quickly became clear that many of the alerts simply redirected users to the same notices already published on the government procurement platforms.
Under the Procurement Act 2023, regulated public procurement notices must now be published in one place on the central digital platform, Find a Tender, making it easier for suppliers to search for opportunities directly.
In light of this, we decided that access to tender alerts shouldn’t cost £100–£150 per month, so we created Tender Finder — a free tool that allows suppliers to receive alerts for opportunities relevant to their services and sectors.
