Bid response assessment experience

From the assessments we have done, below are some stand-out issues identified.

Painting the picture.

We had seen a response averaging 6/10 that was being used for similar ITT’s over and over again with the same result. We reviewed the response and noticed they were not talking enough about the CRM tooling and the people involved in the process. We changed this and the response started averaging 8/10.

People Matter.

We have seen a number of responses that contained only 3 words “our experts will”. How will this give the customer confidence? Dedicating 5% of your words to  the people on the project, their relevant experience, accreditations and value they will bring, will help to score more marks.

Missed content.

Our analysis picked up missing solution text that the customer directly mentioned in their feedback. Bids are fast paced but with our assessments, we can analyse the response creating multiple personas to review the content from their different perspective and pick up content that may of been missed.
