Initial Engagement and first tender completion
The start of what now is an 18 month engagement with the CGC Group.
When they first engaged with us, they had never submitted a public sector bid before and were unfamiliar with the tendering process. They were on this bid in flight with three days before submission.
We use our Bid Bot Platform to automate the first drafts and then used the review tools to improve the responses – using the default marking scheme, question and customer requirements to review the responses.
Their team reviewed the responses with no comments.
They managed to win their first public sector contract and were delivering this throughout 2025 across multiple sites.

Expanding bid operations
We met with the team to celebrate 2025 and to also start planning 2026. We ran a two hour training workshop followed by watching Salford City Football Club, a fantastic evening minus Salford getting beat and the freezing conditions.
They signed up to our free tender alerts, which quickly surfaced another opportunity. They attended the site visit, and we began supporting them with the bid.
Our consultant managed the platform on their behalf, using the Bid Factory to generate and review draft responses. Nine draft responses were produced in around 15 minutes, giving the team a strong starting point.
The consultant then uplifted the three key responses while the client’s project team reviewed and signed off on the final answers.
We have multiple other opportunities in the pipeline due to the tender alerts finder. We are excited to see what the rest of the year holds for the CGC Group.
Using the Bid Bot team and their platform has opened us up to the world of public sector bidding. The quality produced is amazing, it is a huge help using the tool which rapidly analyses bid responses to suggest improvements and automated content. Using their software has allowed us to reduce the time our subject matter experts spend on the bids, allowing them to focus on their day job. Thanks to Bid Bot we can now bid on more public sector tenders.
